 Bodegas Ismael Arroyo has published the first catalogues in Chinese, with all the information about the wines that we are now exporting to China. The winery tries to make easier to Chinese customers to get all the information about Mesoneros de Castilla Tinto Roble, ValSotillo Reserva and Gran Reserva and ValSotillo VS, the wines that we are exporting at present in China through the company Rocks Wine Trading (www.rockswine.com), which is settled in Guangzhou.

The taste
of ValSotillo Reserva 2005 reminds
the original qualities of Ribera del Duero wines, according to the tasters of
the Wines Guide made by the Spanish
well-known newspaper ABC. They have selected this
wine in their selection of 400 wines from all over Spain. The review of
Valsotillo Reserva 2005 emphasizes that this wine keeps the taste of the
original Ribera del Duero wines, when the fruity taste was more important.
Valsotillo Reserva 2005 is 100%
Tempranillo, has been 24 months in oak, is fleshy, powerful and with a
lingering finish.

 Valsotillo wines stood out in the X Wine Fair organized by Viniberica, our importer in Germany, in the city of Ettlingen. 500 people (customers, restaurants, wine shops) visited the fair and tasted the wines from Bodegas Ismael Arroyo.
The sommeliers of the well-known Amador restaurant (3 Michelin stars) were there, and another person who was really interested in tasting all Valsotillo wines was Sybille Herbst, Ketschauer Hof’ sommelier.
Tasters highlighted specially Valsotillo Crianza 2006, Valsotillo Reserva 2004 and Valsotillo Gran Reserva 1999. This one has improved a lot in the bottle and people really appreciated it.

The Spanish wine guide Peñín 2012, a well-known publication
in Spain, has selected seven wines from Bodegas Ismael Arroyo. The tasting team
has selected Mesoneros de Castilla Tinto
Roble 2009 (85p), ValSotillo Crianza
2006 (91), ValSotillo Reserva 2004
(87), ValSotillo VS 2004 (92), ValSotillo Reserva VS 2001 (88), ValSotillo Reserva 2005 (89) and
finally ValSotillo Gran Reserva 2004
(92).
The guide includes 8,000 wines from all over Spain. |

ValSotillo Gran Reserva 2009, ValSotillo VS Reserva 2004 y ValSotillo
Reserva 2005 have been selected by the tasting team of Restauradores
magazine in its special issue about the best Spanish wines released this
October.
The three wines of Bodegas Ismael Arroyo received 90,5, 90
and 92 points, respectively.
