About 2,300 people visited Bodegas Ismael Arroyo, (ValSotillo) in 2010. The 80% is domestic tourism, and almost 400 visitors came from abroad: USA, Germany, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Denmark, England, Poland, France, Belgium, Brazil, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
Most of the visitors are wine lovers and seek their destinies by Internet or tourism agencies, or have read reviews in guides or magazines. Some contact directly with the winery through the website.
The XVI century cellar, a 400 metres long cave dug in rock is one of the major attractions in Bodegas Ismael Arroyo. The old cellar is a historic wine heritage and Valsotillo wines are aged there at a constant temperature. |
