ValSotillo wines moved last March 12 to New York to take part in the Third Grand Tasting organised by DO Ribera del Duero.

Over 300 professionals, such as importers, distributors, sales managers, prescribers, critics and journalists from the most prestigious media (Wine Spectator, Wine Cellar, Wine & Spirit, Wine Enthusiast) gathered the Tasting.

ValSotillo Crianza 2006, ValSotillo VS Reserva 2004 and ValSotillo Gran Reserva 2004 are the three Top 90 wines selected by the Spanish wine guide Peñín 2012. 

All of them got over 90 points in a huge tasting of Spanish wines  (more than 10.000 wines tasted).

They are very full body and well structured, elegant, well balanced with complex aromas, sweet tannins and a great length and lingering finish.
 

Bodegas Ismael Arroyo has published the first catalogues in Chinese, with all the information about the wines that we are now exporting to China. The winery tries to make easier to Chinese customers to get all the information about Mesoneros de Castilla Tinto Roble, ValSotillo Reserva and Gran Reserva and ValSotillo VS, the wines that we are exporting at present in China through the company Rocks Wine Trading (www.rockswine.com), which is settled in Guangzhou.
