VINTAGE
Cold and dry winter. Dry summer with a very changeable weather. Harvest started the 17th of October. The grapes are picked by hand.
INFORMATION
Grapes: 100% Tempranillo.
Vines situated in south-facing slopes. The soil is made up of sand, limestone and clay. All are low bush vines.
Alcoholic and Malolactic fermentation controlled in stainlees steel vats.

This wine has been ageing during 14 months in american oak barrils in an underground cellar built in the XVI Century . Inside the caves the temperature is always around 12ºC.
After being bottled, the wine is kept again inside the underground cellar until it is delivered.

TASTING
Dark cherry colour with purple glints, on the nose there are powerful ripe fruit aromas, with balsamic and mineral hints. Very well balanced, soft tannins, good backbone, with hints of liquorice and chocolate coming through. |
