VINTAGE
Rainy and not too cold winter. Very good weather during Harvest. Excellent vintage, grapes very well riped and balanced. We pick the grapes by hand.
INFORMATION
Grapes: 100% Tempranillo
Vines situated in South-facing slopes. The soil is made up of sand, limestone and clay. All are low bush vines.
Alcoholic and Malolactic fermentation controlled in stainlees steel vats.

This wine has been ageing during 30 months in american oak barrils in an underground cellar built in the XVI Century . Inside the caves the temperature is always around 12ºC.
After being bottled, the wine is kept again inside the underground cellar until it is delivered.
10.600 bottles.

TASTING
Dark and deep cherry colour showing a light brick-red rim.
On the nose there is a powerful and complex bouquet of vanilla, spice, with mineral, liquorice and chocolate hints.
Fleshy, deep and lingering finish on the palate. A very rich and balanced wine.
